    Hello again. I'm back to log my next venture for all of you. This is by far going to be the hardest hitting log that I've ever done. I won't take pain for an answer this go around. I've got some serious motivation to pack on some LBM, and the right stuff to do it with.

    My diet is something I'll be working on this week, and I'd be interested in any and all suggestions. I've been doing fasted training for a while now, and really enjoy it, but feel it may be time to switch things up somewhat. I'm still not entirely sure how I'll be doing things. I'm considering alternating FT and non-FT every week. If I do have a meal before lifting, it will be a moderately light shake (30g P/ 60g C / 200mg P-Slin). Id like to up my calories some, but still be able to lean out. Ill probably add in some lean ground beef, and maybe an additional can of tuna somewhere.

    Current Diet (Lifting days):
    Meal 1 (PWO) : 1 scoop ATW Isolate, 30g WMS, cup Oats
    Meal 2: 3 whole eggs, 9 egg whites, 2 slices Ezekiel bread w/honey, cup steel cut oats (equivalent of 1 cup whole oats), handful of blueberries
    Meal 3: 2 large chicken breasts, 2 cups brown rice, 2 cups broccoli, chopped onions, green peppers, tomatoes
    Meal 4: 1 Ahi tuna fillet, 1 cup bay scallops, chopped onions, green peppers, tomatoes, 2 cups broccoli
    Meal 5: 2 cans of tuna, cup cottage cheese w/ 1 tbsp sunflower nuts, tbsp EVCO, 1 scoop ATW Isolate
    Meal 6: 1 heaping scoop Dymatize Elite 12-hr, tbsp EVCO

    Current Diet (Off days)

    Meal 1: 3 whole eggs, 9 egg whites, cup steel cut oats, handful blueberries
    Meal 2: 1 scoop ATW Isolate, handful of almonds
    Meal 3: 2 large chicken breasts, 2 cups broccoli, chopped onions, green peppers, tomatoes
    Meal 4: Same as lifting day
    Meal 5: Same
    Meal 6: Same

    Cycle dosing:
    MMV2: Weeks 1 thru 6, Mon-Fri = 7caps/day, Sat-Sun = 5caps/day
    Anadraulic State: Weeks 1 thru 6, 1.5 scoops on WO days, 1 scoop on cardio/off days

    Other supplementation:

    NP ATD - 25mg (1 capsule) 3x weekly
    Bulk 1-Carboxy - 2.4g pre-bed
    Bulk Super Cissus - 2g am, mid-day
    Bulk SuperSap - 3g pre-wo, 2g pre-bed
    USP Labs Anabolic Pump - 1cap 15mins before Meal 2 + Meal 3
    Bulk P-Slin- 200mg with Meal 1 (pre-wo shake)
    Controlled Labs Glycer Grow - 3 scoops pre-wo, 3 scoops intra-wo
    Universal Nutrition Super Cuts 3 - 4tabs pre-wo, 2 mid-day, 3 pre-bed
    Axis Labs Adipo X - 3caps pre-wo, 3 mid-day
    USP/PURE Y-RD - 1 cap pre-wo, 1 cap mid-day
    Ephedrine - 12.5mg pre-wo
    Omega 3 - 6g daily
    Bulk Beta Alanine - 3g pre-wo, 3g intra-wo
    Bulk DiCreatine Malate - 3g pre-wo, 3g intra-wo
    Bulk BCAAs - 20g intra-wo, 10g pre-bed
    AST Multi 32x - 1 with Meal 1 + Meal 6
    NOW C-1000 (VitC) - 1 pre-wo, 1 mid-day
    NOW Virgin Coconut Oil - 1/2 tbsp with Meal 5 + Meal 6


    Training will be split up as such:

    Mon - Back/Traps
    Tues - Quads/Delts
    Wed- Cardio/Calves
    Thurs - Bis/Tris
    Fri - Chest/Hams
    Sat - Cardio/Calves/Delts (light work)
    Sun - Rest

    Twelve sets, and three exercises per bodypart. Exercise rep range will be 20-15-12-8-5-3/15-10-6-4/12-8-5 (roughly). I'll be hitting Delts twice a week, with the second day being only about 4 sets of a high-rep pressing movement. I've CONSIDERED upping the sets to 15/bodypart, but we will see.

    I've been doing this same routine the last two weeks (ever since I finished the Controlled Labs log) and have really been enjoying it. My strength is going up on each and every workout, with the exception of anything involving my lower back; it has been taking a beating recently, and is the main reason I'm taking a week off prior to the cycle.

    I'm open to suggestions on anything. Cycle kicks off on Saturday, February 14th.

    Here's some recent pictures. I'm taking a week off this week, so I'll post some new ones on Saturday when the cycle begins.

    Well, I'm kind of a little worried because I've had a few people tell me negative things about M-drol specifically (I've taken the old SD with no problems), and my lady-friend is also advising me against using it.

    I do feel bad about TL sending it to me and now I may not use it. I'll probably either send it back to him, or offer it to someone else, depending on TL's wishes.

    Thanks, man.

    She's a smart girl, and heavily involved in fitness herself, so I have no reason not to listen to her. It's a blessing and a curse! I'm sure there will be a lot more, "Dang it, you're right." moments ahead!

  20. I'm not sure if you're tried ALCAR before, but that might be a nice addition to your cycle. Various benefits, likely increases androgen receptors, and probably T levels. Also makes you feel sharper/more alert I've found. Good to stack it with ALA and Biotin. Tyrosine works too. And for PCT, we've got the new TD Carrier and Form coming soon, might be fun to pick up

    Super Cuts 3 has L-Carnitine in it, but not acetyl-l-carnitine. Is there a huge difference?...and "new" TD carrier, you say? It's not the old Penetrate?

    No sir! I'm still not positive if we went with the PP carrier or another suppliers, but it will all be public info soon. ALCAR is quite a bit different from L-Carnitine. ALCAR has the benefits I stated, while Carnitine really just helps with fat loss at high dosages, and even then it may not be that effective; it seems to be more beneficial for some folks than others. I picked up a 100g container of ALCAR in the fall and was quite impressed so I stocked up on the 500g container, and will take ~2.5g for the next 250 days You just have to take an antioxidant with it (Vit C + GTE is what I do) because it does cause oxidation.

    L-Carnitine (-hydroxy-gammatrimethylammonium butylate)
    (CH3)3N+-CH2-CH(OH)-CH2-COO- is a nutrient normally obtained in the diet from meat (muscle). It is synthesized in the liver from lysine and methionine. Carnitine promotes fatty acid oxidation (fat metabolism) in muscle, thereby promoting efficient energy production.

    Fats (fatty acids) cannot be metabolized unless they are transported into mitochondria by carnitine. Once in the mitochondria fatty acid chains are broken into two-carbon acetyl-CoA units (a process known as -oxidation). (A modified -oxidation also occurs in peroxisomes.) Acetyl-CoA can then be converted to ATP via the citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation.
    The acetylated version of carnitine, Actyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) is absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, enters cells and crosses the blood-brain barrier more readily than unacetylated carnitine, and is therefore more suitable as a nutritional supplement.

    ALCAR is also a potent anti-oxidant.
    Supplementation with both ALCAR and ALA improves mitochondrial function and reduces oxidative stress.

  29. ALCAR's good stuff - I'll buy a kg at a time and a aliquot it, using what I need and storing the rest. Alzheimers runs in my family and ALCAR, plus R-ALA, have shown a lot of benefits in preventing and as therapy for that disease. Not to mention it's a good fat mobilizer and great nootropic.

    Sounds like something I should have been taking all along. So it's important to use it in conjunction with ALA?

    Supposedly for optimum results, yes. ALA has anti-oxidative properties and nootropic properties too, so in the literature I've read, it works well in conjunction with ALCAR. However, I react very violently to taking ALA (I always use R-ALA) for any extended length of time, so I've experimented with other antioxidants as well. Having done so, I think at our age, any antioxidant is sufficient.

    I think I'm going to load up on some carbs with my next meal. May as well make this week all about recovery and include some glycogen storage. - Whole wheat pasta, lean ground beef. Sounds good to me.

  37. Does anyone have anything against whole wheat pasta? Concerns, comments, etc...

    I'll probably be adding that meal I had today to my regular diet in place of one of the others. It was:

    10oz lean ground beef (96/4)
    2 cups (dry) whole wheat rotini pasta
    1/2 cup pasta sauce

    On cycle, I'll be taking 1 AP prior to the meal.

    You can do whatever you want with it, but I don't need it back.

    Open season on TL's M-Drol.

    I eat WW pasta at least once a week. There are different levels of quality - just make sure you read the ingredients to make sure it isn't just colored white flour.
