Something to help with insulin resistance

Took this from a strategy of Charles Poliquin. I got it out of T-Nation.

    Betaine HCl 300 MG
    Bitter Melon Ext. 200 MG
    Gymnema Sylvestre 100 MG
    Fenugreek Seed 1000 MG
Na R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 150 MG
    Acacia Powder 400 MG
    Chromium 40 MCG

I have been using this supplement for 3 weeks. I lowered my carbs, basically it has been meat and veggies as far as diet. Even pre and post workout I cut out the carbs. I eat 1 cup of cooked oats in the morning and a banana and that is the most carbs I have in a day. My energy has gone down, more like hypoglycemic, I am flat most of the time.

However, this is what is expected. My body is adapting to having a lower glycogen levels. I am visibly leaner I mean big time. I am vascular all the time even though I don't get a pump. I contribute alot to the loss of glycogen and water retention that comes with the glycogen. I am seeing striations in the upper chest, front delts, and also some of the tricept. I have 3 more weeks to go, and then I will switch back to a high carb, bulking type plan, by that time I should respond very well with carbs.
