You may be missing some key nutrients even if you exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet. Here are some vitamins and minerals that may help safeguard your health.

Multivitamin/mineral complex. A good one-a-day multi will cover most of your bases on vitamins and minerals. Take it in the morning with breakfast.

Calcium. Research confirms that calcium helps you stay lean and boosts testosterone levels. Take 500600 mg with breakfast and dinner.

Vitamin D. This bone builder also enhances calcium absorption. Take 1,000- 2,000IU of vitamin D3 with your calcium.

Fish Oil. The essential omega-3 fats in fish oil have been shown to enhance fat burning and increase muscle growth. Plus, they boost your heart health and keep your joints pain-free. Take 2-3 g with breakfast and dinner.

CLA. Conjugated linoleic acid is a healthy fat that has been shown to simultaneously boost fat loss and muscle growth and even reduce the risk of cancer. Take 2-3 g with breakfast and dinner.

Poorly written article IMHO. Multivitamins are controversial. Calcium supps can be bad for your heart. D3 is good if you are rarely in the sun/its winter time. Cla is good but it's not that good and causes many people to have an upset stomach. Fish oil is the only one that should obviously be there.
