      Amino-Rich Specialty Protein Delivers Results

If you want to pack pounds of lean muscle onto your frame, you'd better beef up! Without a doubt, beef has historically been the number one muscle building food. Bodybuilders, powerlifters and athletes everywhere, both past and present, have sworn by the muscle-building properties of beef and for good reason.

Beef is a high quality protein consisting of the nine essential amino acids that are vital for building muscle mass and gaining strength. While there are many factors involved with maintaining and building muscle tissue, red meat plays an important role in helping stimulate muscle protein synthesis. Not only does beef taste great and provide you with the crucial building blocks of muscle, but it also is loaded with many other beneficial vitamins and minerals that can help aid in maximizing your recovery and growth. These micronutrients include the growth-hormone-producing mineral potassium, anti-catabolic agent CLA, immune-boosting zinc and blood-building iron. In addition, lean red meat provides many other nutrients that are involved in the muscle building and metabolism process such as carnitine, alanine and vitamins B6 and B12.

Beef is also one of the best natural sources of creatine. Each 4 oz. serving of red meat provides you with roughly 2 grams of creatine, thus providing your muscles with fuel to replenish ATP during and after each intense workout. With all of these benefits, it really is no surprise that guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbo consumed massive amounts of beef during the off-season and right up to their competitions.

While lean beef provides your body with many benefits, there are some potential drawbacks if too much red meat is consumed on a daily basis. Bodybuilders typically see amazing results when they eat massive amounts of beef, but consuming too much can cause distress on the stomach during digestion. In addition, high amounts of beef have been shown to raise cholesterol levels due to its high fat content. While a minimal amount of fat is good for boosting your overall testosterone levels, too much may not always be a good thing – especially saturated fat. High amounts of fat could potentially increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes, as well as cause other negative health issues. As a bodybuilder, you should be trying to be improving your health, not wreak havoc on it.

Last, but not least, quality cuts of beef are not cheap and it is certainly not convenient to prepare lean steaks every single day. As a result, many people are moving toward other types of protein such as chicken and fish to fulfill their protein needs.

Although several cuts of beef are good, there are some that are better than others. While "prime" cuts of beef are more tender and juicy, they are certainly not the healthiest and leanest due to the higher amounts of fat they contain. A bodybuilder must provide his body with the highest quality beef in order to build the best and healthiest body possible. Therefore, round cuts of beef are the clear-cut winner as they provide you with the best protein-to-fat ratio. Even though round cuts stand above the rest, they may be too expensive for your budget. A much more affordable option that is a close second in terms of quality is the loin cuts. These cuts of beef will tend to be higher in fat, but they will still provide you with the same muscle building effects.

A bodybuilder's love for meat is undeniable and it is easy to see why. It has built the foundation of many of the physique greats, but many lifters today shy away from beef due to the risks that are associated with it, especially when consumed in large quantities. As a result, today's bodybuilders are eating less meat and are therefore losing out on all of the muscle building benefits. Fortunately, there is another perhaps even better alternative.

To satisfy your craving for real beef and help you maximize your muscle building potential, MuscleMeds Performance Technologies has created CARNIVOR, the first beef protein supplement on the market. CARNIVOR provides bodybuilders with the same benefits as beef without the unwanted risks. In addition, this great tasting beef protein shake is fortified with added creatine and BCAAs, plus it boasts the exclusive Anabolic Nitrogen Retention Technology (ANRT) that recycles amino acids and reduces ammonia buildup. CARNIVOR comes in five delicious flavors and gives you the power of 100% beef at a considerably cheaper price. Thus, CARNIVOR allows bodybuilders like you to harness the anabolic muscle building properties of beef while keeping you healthy and putting a little more money in your pockets!
