To show that I'm the leader of the pack, I stayed in the gym and kept lifting when my buddies decided to leave to eat lunch (more of an antisocial than leadership quality? LOL).

I flew from pittsburgh to Atlanta (and am on my way back as I type) for a 6hr meeting with our division CEO/COO to prep for the new position I took at work. Alpha at work as well as the gym.

Without getting to deep into my occupation: On a daily basis I help to ensure my coworkers go home safe, and evil never wins. I believe in " the way of the fist" , and not the popular belief that the world can be fixed with hugs or psychologists prescribing medication. Meet evil head on and crush it!

Legit. A skill that seems to have been lost somewhere. Sometimes these things are thankless, but you know you made the right decision. Nice work.

Congrats on the new position, man! That is what it's all about!

What did i do?

During my lunch break at school today i stayed after to help the mentally disables students clean up the cafeteria on my prep period, and i also assisted those individuals by paying for their lunch because of their kind effort and time they put in to taking care of the school. So i had to buy lunch for 5 students today which only costed 10$ but i felt like it was a good deed to support those who give back to their community (by cleaning the lunch cafeteria) and do not get enough respect for what they are doing.

The principal of the school tried to refund me for paying for their lunches, but i said i did not want to be repaid because those students deserve more for their time considering most of the "normal" Students in the school leave a mess in the lunch room. I felt this did not make me a leader of the pack, but also made a statement to help support those who deserve it and take a stand for those who do not get enough respect.

This past month I worked 80-90 hour weeks for my surgery rotation in medical school. I have a 4.5 month old son and the last two weeks of my rotation my wife and son were sick so I had to take extra care of my son and my wife,( ie taking care of my son in the middle of the night to give my wife a break, assisting my wife with whatever she needed) all while working crazy hours and being on call 24-7. I grew a lot this past month and I showed I am the leader of the pack by busting my butt on my rotation so I can take care of my family in the future, but also right now with all the extra needs. All while getting to the gym 4 times a week and busting my butt there too. Cool contest thanks!

Since I'm done with school for the semester, I am looking for something to fill up my free time with. For the past two weeks, many of my co-workers have been calling out. My employer has been calling me asking me to come in to work in my department or others. Instead of ignoring the calls or saying no, I have been going into work, going on my 11th straight day tomorrow. Sure, it benefits me, but at the same time I am showing I am willing to help out, even when it is not for my direct department.

I interact with human resources for consulting and today there was a guy I knew for a while that had been accused of doing something wrong with another person, without divulging details I set aside my relation with the person and just treated it like another case. Once the dust settled, the person was not guilty of wrongdoing but being diligent and doing the right thing ended up being the correct thing to do, separating work and relationships and being an example of honesty and truth to those around me.

Being a leader of the pact comes 2nd nature to those who walk the line and take the path that leads to success. Work an opening shift in a clinic and when the doors open many people need to get in and out and on to work. Sadly a co-worker had an emergency that caused her to leave as soon as she walked in and left me with 2 PTs to handle several patients. Sadly one PT couldn't actual help so I opened up our floor doors that lead into the lobby, devised a plan, and we were able to get everyone in and out without causing anyone problems and not one patient went over their usual time. Shirt was wet as crap but if I cant handle the unexpected rushes now then I don't deserve the right to call myself a PT one day. Got lucky more then anything but was a day to suckup misfortune and look good for the Boss lol.

Got shut out of another great contest due to geolocation. :(

I will hum the Canadian anthem, eat bacon and double up my syrup while envying the winners here.

Even though an application from me is useless I will still say that today I woke up to a very sick wife. Called work for her, breakfast in bed, brought ti docs then pharmacy, served and pampered all day while doing all of our errands and chores. Made her fave dinner and skipped my workout to be with her in bed (big deal for me, haven't missed one in over a month)

Part of her breakfast:

Made her day a little brighter

I take the reigns and do my part when I can

Today was the lady behind the counters birthday at our gym. While her mother brought her a nice cake and a card, she asked me if i could whip something up that she would enjoy. She is a big chocolate and peanut butter person so i decided to really surprise her with some Chocolate OEP loaves? Why? Because she loves chocolate and she has no idea they are even protein baked goods. But the thing is she is a peanut butter person so i made a homemade peanut butter frosting with greek yogurt, a TBSP of peanut butter, and a dash of PB2/PB Lean as a healthy alternative (because she likes to watch her calories and competes in figure)

when i surprised her this morning with the loaves and the PB Frosting she literally had no idea what to do. I should of brought the bottle of AP with me too for her because she may need it because she downed 2 of them before i even left after my morning cardio session and was eyeing up the rest.

Trying to set the tone for her on her birthday.

Today at my family medicine rotation for school an older gentleman came in and had probably 15 or so medications he was on. He brought them all in and there was a lot of confusion as to what he was currently taking, and what he should be taking due to him seeing multiple specialists. What was initially supposed to be a 15 minute appointment turned into an hour appointment with me calling his pharmacies, specialist, and insurance to make sure he was taking the right meds. I went 40 minutes into my scheduled 1hr lunch but we got it all settled in the end.

I'm a history major, but the test is on Social Studies. It is 130 multiple choice question broken in these sections: US History, World History, Political Science, Economics, Geography (which is getting phased out of schools), and Psychology/Anthropology/Sociology. I hate multiple choice tests, especially those that say choose the best answer when two of them could be argued for the best. I'm fine in the history part, but all of the other ones worry me since I am not well versed on those. The two history sections only account for 56 of the 130 questions.

X G/F was a history major i know your pain she would borrow me to help her study all the time. its a tricky test no doubt but you have to stay focused.

Was supposed to have training for learning support/special education today, but ended up being called in early to school to cover for another teacher (The golden apple award winner for best teacher in the school) because she was feeling pretty ill. I told her i would step in and help
Upon going to school i was taken to the principal office and he sat me down and told me they put me on the preferred substitute list for the amount of times i have substituted and because the students have recommended me over any of the other substitutes that have entered the district.

What a great way to start your friday and also know the entire school is backing you for your hard work in the classroom.
