you go into sup shops on preset appts (i do a lot of Vitamin Shoppes myself), talk to customers for couple hours about product/company, pass out samples, educate shop employees on product line..

regular demo-type activity

depends on where the stores are at..
i have 1 VS local, the others i do are all within 2hrs or less drive distance..you get reimbursed for gas

no - they certainly carry the line already
this is not "new calling" sales job; we simply educate further on our line, as we are new to most shops with our current lineup
VS for example - just got in there this yr i believe

this is outside sales only - however we do want the person to be well-educated and a "specialist" in our product line..would seem if you are repping other companies, would not be a good fit as chances are you cannot keep up with the educational/knowledgeable requirements we would wish to see in a professional manner

It's possible. Only been a few days since I emailed my contact info, and it took me a few to get back to him (moving and whatnot).
