    Job Description:
    Summary:
    This position is primarily responsible for managing strategic customer accounts, both domestic and international, and directing the implementation of a comprehensive brand and product marketing cycle in a post-development environment by performing the following duties personally and/or though subordinates.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Manages the relationships of strategic accounts, both international and domestic, and carries out customer-specific marketing and promotions plans.
    • Identifies market potential, conducts analysis and, through that analysis, recommends pricing and market strategies, estimates potential sales, addresses distribution/channel issues, and manages new and mature products regionally.
    • Assists in the creation of promotional plans and manages their implementation.
    • Provides expertise in particular product area and develops strategies and applicable portions of the company business plan.
    • Plans, organizes, and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources.
    • Manages resources to execute assigned programs.
    • Coordinates program planning and order forecasting with customers to ensure identification of appropriate manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs, and similar considerations.
    • Conducts pre-contract liaison with customers, both domestic and international, and participates in negotiating with key customers regarding contract terms and conditions.
    • Coordinates details of programs within the organization with a wide range of functions and individuals.
    • Coordinates product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    Master's degree (MBA) or equivalent preferred; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry-specific experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
    LANGUAGE SKILLS:
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.     Job Description:

    MARCOM ASSISTANT
    The Marketing Communications Assistant will support the Director of Marketing & Advertising in the management of the annual marketing and advertising calendar (print and online) and production of materials including advertisements, product write-ups, sales sheets and manuals.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Assist in development of print ad submission calendar and ensure materials are created and sent to magazines on time.
    • Respond to communications and requests from magazines.
    • Work with graphics/creative team to respond to ad hoc (but frequent) requests for sales sheets, product write-ups, promotions, banner ads, etc.
    • Proof print ads, sales sheets, manuals, online banners, etc. to ensure accuracy, consistency with other materials, proper grammar and message effectiveness.
    • Assist in management of online marketing calendar. Ensure online team is apprised of schedule and responds in a timely manner.
    • Update product marketing information sheets and distribute to internal teams. Help to ensure team members implement changes and that changes are accurately reflected in print and online advertising/marketing.
    • Help update and manage budget spreadsheet.
    • Perform periodic appraisals of competitor marketing; recommend opportunities to improve our materials, etc.

    Skills Required:
    • 3 – 5 years of related experience in a marketing, advertising or proof-reading role Keen understanding of how to build a visually and strategically-compelling ad or write-up
    • Excellent editorial and proof-reading skills; copywriting experience a plus
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent project-management skills
    • Superior communication and presentation skills
    • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills
    • Flexibility
    • Microsoft Word, Excel

    Being a business education major, minoring in economics and knowing a lot about marketing (Since i took 4 classes at college) makes me interested, but i dont think i could live up to the responsibility from USP Labs being a young guy (24) and there will be plenty out there with MORE exerience.
