    macros and eggs question...


    What's up guys so basically I wanted to see what was your current macros for bulking. I'm 20 180lbs and looking to compete naturally next September. I'm currently at 3000 cals 300 c 187 p and 116 f. Do you think this is a good ratio? Also is it ok to eat 10+ whole eggs a day? I heard cholesterol on eggs is a myth. Let me know thanks!

    I don't have too much insights on macros, mine are pretty much always around 30/40/30 fat/carb/pro

    But dietary cholesterol intake has been shown to not have negative impacts on blood levels in numerous studies.

    Good luck with the contest prep tho.

    eggs are awesome! 10 a day might be overly fattning to the regular skinny guy not looking to bulk but for a hard working athlete you should be able to use that energy quite well.

    Do you not have access to other foods? 4 a day is where I stand and I don't worry about the cholesterol aspect.

    Yeah I usually have tilapia eggs or whey protein.. Some days I might not eat any eggs at all but some I might eat up to 10

    Eggs are fine, I cant do 10 a day but if that is how you want your fat intake your good to go.

    Beef, chicken, turkey, fish I purchase it all at Whole Foods, or recently my local Sams started carrying free range chicken, grass fed beef, and non-farmed fish.

    Is it true that beef > chicken in terms of building muscle?? I know its all about macros but I heard someone say the fat in the beef is superior for gains??

    Without seeing research I cant agree or disagree with that. Fat ofcourse is essential for a balanced diet, so I dont know how beef fat would be better then say having chicken and coconut oil or MCT oil.

    Kinda splitting hairs with this question..... if you compare quantity then beef will build more muscle at any given ounce
