    So this winter I am actually going to try to gain some muscle! I have a Mountain Dog program lined up and I am excited to start next week... I am a small guy (5 "8". 145 lbs roughly 15 % bf..) My goal is to try to get a little bigger. Hopefully gain 4 to 5 pounds of lean muscle this winter! My plan is a clean bulk with 1 cheat meal a week and I will be taking creatine, a multi, fish oil and myofusion protein. My biggest question is macros I guess. My maintenance cals are roughly 24-2500 so I was going to be eating 28-3000 cals a day. I was thinking of shooting for 100g good fat, 175-200 g protein, and 200-250 g carbs. What do you guys think? Feedback and or critique please!!


  2. Been lifting for about 2 yrs but not on any real program.

  3. Start there and see how it goes for 2-3 weeks. If you're not gaining .25 / .5 lbs a week, bump up the macros by 5-10 each meal

  4. You will probably want to increase your Protean intake.

  5. bump up the macros and increase the amount of Protean you are intaking

  6. Are you getting MDT from JM? If you are, I would recommend you hire him to do your diet. Otherwise just start with what you think and see how it goes. Cant go wrong with adding a couple protean shakes in there throughout the day.

  7. Sounds like a solid plan but you may want to try adding 250cals for the first few weeks and then add the other 250cals. This will give you some time to adjust to the new diet without feeling over stuffed and bloated.

  8. Thanks guys.. Protein sounds like it needs to be higher.. I actually enjoy my p-shakes so that's not too hard to follow.. Just bought some vitargo s2 carb powder today and going to try that tomorrow after first workout...

    I liek DC training, and addign olive oil to everything you can.

    also make smoothies:

    1 banana
    3tbs peanutbutter or olive oil
    75g protein power
    hand full frozen berries
    30g oatmeal
    fill with milk or water and blend. 2 servings

    Are you saying that is all in one shake? You say 2 servings, do you put in fridge? I see guys put olive oil in shakes, But I have never tried it. Never tried to down it like a shot either.. I need to try new things though to try and get the macros I need... Keep any suggestions coming guys!!!
