I dont know about it adding up to nearly double, but once a week I through in a good cheat meal or two. I try to plan it on a day I am still training or doing cardio so I dont sit around with extra calories and not put them to use. I think its a good thing for your mind more than your metabolism. You get to let yourself have whatever it is you might be craving and then get right back on track and usually you wont notice a change in weight unless its water.
