They gain muscle mass just like anyone else. A good training program and a clean diet with a moderate surplus. If you are over weight you may want to cut some fat first. What are your stats?

Being an endo you'll probably put on mass easily, especially with carbs.
I personally eat more fats and less carbs, so when i gain it's as lean as i can make it.
Fats need to be healthy when possible, coconut milk and flaxseed are two good additions.
If i don't watch what i eat, the fat packs on very fast, my guess is you're the same.
As gmanall says, post up your stats, routine and diet.

i'd recommend leaning out as much as possible before you bulk up, that way you can give yourself a little more dietary freedom on your bulk

Id get to sub 9% body fat and ensure you keep a clean diet when you slowly add calories back in.
If you get lean and begin to bulk and give yourself freedom you will be right back to square one.
Now im not saying to never eat what you like. One meal a week is good.
If you have anymore questions let me know.
