White Rice Vs. White Potatoes

  1. White Rice Vs. White Potatoes


    Title is self explanatory.. which would you consider more beneficial; white rice or white potato for bulk carbs?


  2. My thoughts are white potatoes - because potatoes grow white - whereas rice is processed to make it white.

    Brown rice is probably the way forward tbh, I eat it by the lb almost when I am bulking. Which is now.

    Which great cos I love food! and lifting heavy things!

  4. i think rice gives you more options, you can have steam rice with some chicken or some kind of meat and itll taste delicious if cooked right.
    The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do.

  5. a sick rice recipe

    Brown rice made in slow cooker with a little butter (butter naturally has some CLA go figure )... after done, use pinapples, worchestershire sauce and a can of baked bean (drained a little bit) and eat. can also add some applesauce to this, and a tad bit of hot sauce. ****ing scrumtious.

    only thing i can do with a potato is load it w bacon cheese n sour cream lol.

    Rice is a little more versitile.

    try and get a longer grain though.

    ****ing phenominal. make this with a nice grilled pork chop

  8. Id go brown rice and potatoes. potatoes are that way naturally eat the while thing including the skin. and i mix brown rice with black beans good carbs and fiber

  9. I'm originally from Hawaii so rice all the way! I've been on the west coast for some time now and still can't get used to the whole potato thing. I buy 20lbs bags of rice every couple of months!
