I agree with all of what has been said -- nutrition, hard work, and a solid whey protein are going to be all you need for a good long while. You'll see people always searching for the latest and greatest supplements on these boards, but you won't often see them acknowledge the fact that whey protein is the best, most proven supplement that money can buy.
As a bit of anecdotal evidence, I started really getting into lifting when I was 19. With a lot of hard lifting and whey protein, I was able to put on 30 lbs of muscle in one year. Now, that also had to do with hormonal changes, etc at the time, but it just goes to prove that those things are really all you need as a beginner. I still have the stretch marks on my upper biceps from the extremely rapid growth to prove it.
Once you get past those initial years of easy gains, balancing your physique and adding mass becomes more of a challenge. I would suggest waiting until that point before you start diving deeper into the world of supplements and "stacks." As you're getting more serious about lifting, if you aren't getting the results you want, just read up as much as you can on technique and nutrition. I promise you it will pay off more than anything else you can do.
