    Any tips for vegetarians??

Post SB I'm going to try to bulk up again. When I was in highschool it was pretty easy to get all kinds of healthy vegetarian options with my parents buying food and everything. Now I'm basically stuck on a low budget route with little supps at my disposal.

What I've been sticking to lately is tons of eggs, black beans, canned tuna, fish, nattypb, and whey. I guess I should note I'm pescatarian actually as I eat fish.

I'm really trying to get something decent dialed before I start my first ph (prob epistane because of some genetic gyno issues).

If anybodys got any tips that would be great.

If you don't want to eat meat, take in lots of carbs. Without adequate protein, you run the risk of your excess carbs being store as fat.

    Why are you vegetarian?

    Hi,,,
It is some what quite a difficult task to bulk up if you are vegetarian. The main reason is the plants, in general, contain less calories than animal food.
I can't advice you any particuler tips but can guide you about the food usage.
coconut and all other nuts,Seeds,Avocado and Olives

If he is a lacto-vegan he can use milk to bulk up. You can mix whey, milk, oats, and blueberries (lots of carbs) and create 800kcal shakes.

All I have to say is don't go for SOY to get your protein. Soy products have been shown to increase your estrogen levels. Unless your going for a soft marshmellow look.

Only other tip is to buy bulk quinoa, its one of the better grains as far as proteins go, and is a complete protein source.

Load up on the peanut butter. Can you eat honey? Peanut butter and honey sandwiches are good for putting on weight. Tuna is good protein, but it's too lean for me. I can't bulk up on it. Add alot of carbs and fat, peanut butter and honey sandwiches are loaded with both, and aren't protein deficient either. If you eat alot of them you will pack on size

Quinoa is GREAT high in protein and fiber, and low GI carb. I'd also recommend looking into RealGoodness brand Milk. It's cow's milk with the lactose removed so you get the an increased protein content and lower amount of sugar than any other milk I was able to find (at the market).

    look into these too

    Cottage cheese
Greek yogurt (i go with plain with cinnamon and stevia-to cut down on sugar) Some sliced bananas in are great in it too as a healthy treat
    Chia seeds

Hope that helps some- good luck with your bulk
