    Hey all,

    So I'm 40. 6'1" 235lbs somewhere around 18% BF I've never competed, but would like to try to either compete, or look like I compete, but I don't want t get on a stage unless I could win it, but I'm perfectly happy never getting on stage.

    I'm on a 10 week plan right now to try and lean up as much as I can just to see where I am and where I could possibly get to and if a physique show would actually be a possibility. Looking at one in October.

    So right now I'm trying to just maintain muscle and drop fat, my workouts are weights 4 on 2 off, with 300cal worth of cardio 5x a week

    What do you guys think of my daily diet?

    Wake: 2 Scoops Whey Isolate

    7am: 1 cup(ish) of egg whites (half of one of the costco egg white cartons)
    1 1/2 scoops Whey Isolate
    3/4 cups oatmeal

    9:30: 1 Apple
    2 scoops whey isolate
    25 almonds

    12: 8oz chicken breast
    1 cup brown rice
    1 cup broccoli

    3: 8oz chicken breast
    1 cup brown rice
    1 cup broccoli

    post workout: 2 scoops whey isolate

    Before bed: 4oz potato
    25 almonds
    2 scoops Casein Protein
    Having great potential just means you haven't done anything yet.

  3. in summary, you are only eating two real meals. The majority of your day is purely shakes and nuts. Everyone's diets / workouts are different and It looks like you are decently lean and muscular. Seems to be going ok for you. I would just take out some protein shakes and get more real foods in there. maybe some fish, fruit, etc
