First Contest Cut progress

Page 2 of 2 First 12

  1. Just shows what dedication does to a man. Turns him into a form of art! Good job. I'm preparing for a contest myself but always got my advice from a guy whose done tons of competitions. But there's alot to learn here!

  2. 4th place twice!!

Well guys I had a great time and did ok for my first show. I learned so much and I am ready to grow and correct my weaknesses. Looking forward to competing again! I had a couple of cheat days and now I am back to eating pretty clean and I'm going to try and stay lean.

Wow 35-39 for masters, at that age that would end up being the toughest category more times than not. I think Maters should be moved up to at least 45 as people are looking so much younger now. A lot of people are peaking at 40....
Unremarkable is no way to go through life... Doug

  5. Congrats Bro!!!!! Great Job. Its a feat just doing it. I hope you enjoyed the journey.

yea he looked damn good, first show or not.
as for you bro, unless ur only competeing to win, any time is a good time to get on a stage. well, for u anyways from what i can see in ur pic. u look like u have a solid build. the experience and knowledge gain is worth more than a 1st place trophey....at least for ur first show

thanks for the words, motivation is the key and your right, ive heard their is alot of experience to be gained from doing a show even if you dont make the cut

  9. Very nice. What do you feel this first competition taught you the most? Sorry if the question is a bit vague and blunt

  10. Thanks guys! This show taught me the most about my diet and nutrition and how my body responds. It was a fantastic experience and I recommend it to anyone who can. Can't wait for my next one.

BTW I'm still holding at under 6% bf and gonna try to stay under 8 always. It will be much easier to cut next time.
