Dermacrine - lethary, flu like symptoms

Started dermacrine at 2, then 3 pumps in the AM and been feeling very tired, depressed and have concluded that it is the dermacrine (the only thing that has changed). I am 8 days in. I weigh 192, 46 yrs old with about 16% bodyfat. Is it too much for my body to convert? Maybe I should do two pumps before bed or 1 in the AM and 1-2 in the PM? How can I counteract this (as I am liking the pump and strength increase - feeling very anabolic). I just ended ARA and ABE and am continuing ABE. Dermacrine is my first non natty attempt. Thanks for your help.

What are you using for estrogen control?

discontinue for a few days and see if syptoms go away. it could be that you actually have the flu or some other illness that is making you feel this way. if you were allergic to anything in dermacrine it likely would have been felt before 8 days, imo.

It was felt from the on-set. I will discontinue use for a few days. If I find the symptoms go away, should I re-try with a lower dose like 1 AM and 1 PM pump?

I personally believe your body was converting to much of the DHEA to estrogen that's why I was wondering what you were using for estrogen

I am the guy that started the thread. I had to get a new user id. Anyhow, after 3 days off, I am feeling like myself. I am almost certain is was the Dermacrine.
I can't afford to feel that bad for about 1.5 weeks lol. So in about 1.5 weeks, I will re-start, but only with 1 pump for a few days, then 1 pump twice a day and see if I can get up to 1 pump 3 times a day.

I think the problem was with using 2, then 3, then 4 pumps at the same time. Does that make sense?
Are there others that have reported experiencing this? Were they able to find a sweet spot or did they have to cease use?
Am I just super sensitive (maybe cause I am 46) and need less than others may need?

    Thanks for your input..

Wow, very interesting. I just started mine about 3 days ago & have felt fine. I would definitely recommend starting slow this next time around. Please update us in a couple weeks! !

That was my initial thought. Some people (myself included) are very sensitive to DHEA and get fast estrogen sides. Derma is well balanced, though, and the pregnenolone converts directly to prog, which also balances estrogen. The other thought I had is that you are already on the higher side of prog and your DHT is lowered too much. That can cause lethargy, depression, and loss of libido.

    Just thoughts..

definately start back at 1 pump and don't be overly eager to increase to 2 or more, let your body adjust to 1 pump and see how you react.....there are several guys who have posted in threads that 1 pump was all they needed...if this is the case for you dermacrine will last a long time!!!

just out of curiousity have you ever had a hormone panel blood test done? the body changes as we get older, at 46 it might be good to know where you stand.

Thanks. I will have to look up this test. What is a result that may indicate i m sensitive to something in the product?

honestly there are too many variables, i don't hold any degrees and would only be guessing, and in my opinion even a specialist would only be guessing without running tests. some people just don't react well to certain products!!!

what you would want is a 'full panel hormone test', at least you would have a better understanding of where you stand with levels of test/free test/estradiol/estrone/DHEA/cortisol/igf-1/shbg/progesterone/prolactin. this is important information you and your doctor should know as you approach 50, imo.

    good luck, bobby!!!

Wow, that test covers everything. This would be a very good idea. I will have to look into it - I am from Canada and from what I understand, our cheapest option is one of the online labs. As I doubt my Dr would sign me up to do this for free (I will try though).

full panel tests aren't cheap...but tiredness all the time and depression could be signs of low testosterone, tell your doctor you also have low libido and at the very least he should do a basic hormone test....

should give your doctor ample cause for at least a basic hormone test....even here in the states doc's have to justify lab work for insurance to cover them.

I remember seeing a link here on the forums a while back for cheaper hormone panel tests. I think it might be a sticky.

Not sure if it works for Canada though. Let me see if i can find it and report back.

Well I could drop by the US - I am not far from the border. However, it is not available in NY (and a bunch of other states) for some reason.

Ok, so after 1.5 weeks off and feeling much better, I started at 1 pump. After 5 days I seemed ok and was feeling positive effects, so I went to two pumps for one day - and bang started to feel the same symptoms. Gonna take at least a few days off and then return to 1 pump and see if I can hold at that.
    Question:
    Will 1 pump do anything?
Do you think I would get the same effect off say X1-KT (iron legion 11 keto) or Ostarine (20mg)?
Want to try to avoid anything else that I may not be able to use.
    Thanks for your opinions.

your question is redundant, lol....you already said you were getting positive results before going to 2 pumps....just think how long it will last you!!!

Well positive results - in that I don't feel deathly ill like I get at 2 pumps and I only tried 5 days with 1 pump. Not quite the results I am seeking.
I doubt 1 pump (if I can handle that for say a month) will amount to anything. What do you think?

i think if you are good at 1 pump then you should stay there, believe it or not but there are guys who buy dermacrine just to use at 1 pump daily. makes dermacrine very economical.

XI-KT, Ostarine and Dermacrine are all completely different.

I'm not totally familiar with Ostarine and haven't used it, but I am currently nearing the end of a two bottle cycle of XI-KT. You still get some cortisol suppression with Dermacrine, but XI-KT is more geared directly towards cortisol reduction for fat loss and lean mass sparing.
