The Manhattan Project day 27

Posted 10-31-2009 at 06:24 PM by Tansui

Back on Track

Well I'm making progress again, and it's a good thing too. I was pretty concerned about what seemed like a plateau so early in the EPIC recomp/lean mass gain expedition that is " The Manhattan Project". I decided after a fair bit of research to switch up my routine. I was also able to see my Japanese heritage may play a role in the trouble I have always had - both gaining, and keeping weight.

One article I found helped spur a change in my workout...

Day VIIII

Posted 10-29-2009 at 05:35 PM by 4restgump

One more day to go. Today was a long day. Many mental obstacles to overcome. I need to stay positive and not allow negativity to drain me. I keep reminding myself of Jesus' promises to all of us about health. I thank him for cleansing me with his purifying blood. Tomorrow will be my last day.

Day VIII

Posted 10-29-2009 at 05:33 PM by 4restgump

woke up feeling a little hungry. I quickly began starting to feel better once the day continued. I drank enough water and only needed 3 lemonades to get me thru the day. Don't have mush to say except day 8 is over.

The Manhattan Project day 25

Posted 10-29-2009 at 10:11 AM by Tansui

The Good News

I'm getting stronger, In fact I have gone up 10-15 lbs in almost every exercise I do (30lbs on dead lifts and 20lbs on seated rows) I'm leaning out more and becoming a little more vascular as well. I have also noticed more intensity and drive in work outs, when I have a protein shake for my pre-workout meal opposed to food.

The Bad News

I don't feel like I've had a good workout since Saturday the 24th. Why you ask? I'm not getting sore anymore...
