Propecia and hormone leveks

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I wasn't sure where to post it.
I've been considering using propecia to combat my hair loss, but I've heard it has a negative affect on hormone levels, especially testosterone, and I'm trying to pack on size. Anyone know the scoop?
