Am I right that the doctor I need to consult is urologist? Try is safe right?

Urologist or Endocrinologist, either can do it. The standard protocol that most physicians in the field use is the endocrinology guideline. It is not as cutting edge as what the specialty aging clinics do for serious $$$ and frankly not as sophisticated as most veterans on the forums consider state of the art. If I were you, I would start by finding an endo or uro who advertises TRT (mine does it as a sideline along with vasectomies) and if you need TRT, perhaps consider moving to a specialty anti aging clinic if you have the cash.

TRT does not have to be expensive, if you have insurance. I pay $10 copay for a vial of testosterone which should last me ten weeks, and a $20 copay for my urologist. Without insurance, you can find a coupon to take the cost under $50 a vial for testosterone and 50-60 bucks for the lab tests (all in). By the way, going through a 10ml vial of testosterone in 10 weeks is the maximum dose most legit urologists would prescribe, and most will prescribe less.

On the other hand, you can see an aging specialist and pay out of pocket, and who prescribes all sorts of goodies which make you feel even better and keeps you good looking. That costs a lot to do legally. I remember looking at an ad in an airline magazine featuring a 70 year old with a six pack, and thinking 'dude, whatever it takes, it's not gonna be me with a walker at 70.'

The insurance companies will pay for TRT, but not the really excellent cutting edge anti-aging stuff. That, you will have to either pay out of pocket or piece together from the underground (which is another topic altogether, although easy enough to do)

By not so cutting edge, do you mean plain on Test C or E and an AI? Yes, they work and work well. I think by cutting edge stuff he probably was referring to HGH or Peps or other goodies insurance won't pay for.

"goodies" would be HCG, HGH, Sermorelin, and in many cases even AI's. I understand that some even push the envelope with other stuff less commonly approved such as nandrolone but I have only heard anecdotal reports of this. Insurance will not pay for these because they are somewhat expensive (if bought legally in the United States) and they are not officially approved for that purpose. HGH is still brutally expensive, even on the black market.

If you want to see how it's done you can read Crisler's protocol to get an idea, as he puts it on his website.

I'm in Florida and I have talked to an anti aging clinic and they send me emails for doctor approved shredding and bulking cycles however it is very expensive. I told them I wasn't quite ready to take the TRT route yet and they told me to call whenever I wanna come in. Some things they offered were anavar, winstrol, HGH, sermerolin, all of the test esters, all AI's, HCG and much much more

I'm actually curious on the 'much much more' part. Could you post that part of the email? I'm curious about what a really, really expensive anti-aging guy who pushes the limits can get you. (I don't think you're supposed to post prices, though). I'm not ready to go that route right now, but I could be in five years.

The only Dr's I knew of prescribing these were the anti-AIDS guys in San Francisco. You can see guys in the Castro neighborhood with giant muscles and famine victim faces, because they are on huge doses of steroids to combat muscle wasting disorders.

I'll look and see if I can post I'm doing this on my phone but I just looked at one and nandrolone decoanate was part of one of the specials. They only send emails out for the monthly specials which doesn't show everything they offer but man...the clinic I'm talking about is in west palm beach Florida. I'm sure they have lots to offer

In many cases, if you will take the time to research, ask questions and educate yourself you really only need a dr. to prescribe and order tests for you. In many cases this is the challenging part. Most m.d's, endos and urologists are pretty clueless on the latest and best protocols and look at you suspiciously if you try to have some input into your treatment. Don't settle for anything less than what you are happy with.

Also, some of these anti-aging clinics are only concerned with their income and not your health. They will set you up with most anything you are willing to pay for. Supraphysiological levels of testosterone may sound exciting but are not best long term for your health. It will become part of your life not just a cycle of steroids.

Yes, ^^^^ this. Who knows where I'd be if I hadn't educated myself before consulting with docs.
And ^^^ this also. I was able to understand everything my Dr told me and I was able to ask questions I wouldn't have otherwise. Go prepared, and don't be afraid to offer your Dr an alternative idea. It should be a collaboration, not an assignment!

Sometimes we get in a bubble here because we are more educated on this than most and I forget when I visit other sites. The knowledge around here is immense and I learn all the time. I read my doc's notes and it is pretty funny because it always starts with "kisaj requested, kisaj consulted with me on, kisaj asked about, etc..."

Any area on this website where I can start reading?

Also, I remember there was a link on this website about "how to acquire bloodwork for $50". Can someone please help me find it? I changed a lot of things in terms of diet and sleeping habits. I would like to know if my testosterone increased. Previously for many months, I didn't have an erection anymore in the morning. I got frightened although I don't have any issues with sex. But for the past months, maybe because I changed my sleeping habits and diet, I'm getting a boner once I get up in the morning.

Oh, I thought I can call LabCorp directly after I've paid online. I'll have to check the website link again. :)
